FaceTite works best on the lower part of your face and neck. FaceTite treatments can tighten and smooth the skin around your mouth, cheeks, chin, neck and jowls. If you’re concerned about loose skin and wrinkles in the upper part of your face, Dr. Dellinger may suggest adding a brow lift or eyelid surgery. A neck lift may be a more effective treatment than FaceTite if you have severe sagging skin in your neck.*
Your FaceTite procedure may last for an hour or longer depending on how many areas you have treated. After your procedure, you will be placed in a compression garment but you won’t need any stitches and you’ll be able to go home the same day.*
Dellinger recommends wearing your compression garment as much as possible during the first 1 to 2 weeks, then possibly at night for another couple of weeks. You should be able to resume your normal routine within a few days but you should avoid any strenuous physical activity for a few weeks.*
You shouldn’t have any scars after your FaceTite procedure and you may see results similar to a surgical facelift. Your results should be noticeable right after your procedure and continue improving over the next few months.*

Begin by doing your research on the FaceTite procedure. That way during your consultation with the plastic surgeon, you should have some questions for them. Make sure that your plastic surgeon has lots of experience performing the FaceTite procedure. Ask to see before and after photos of people to get a better idea of results you can expect.
The best candidates for FaceTite are men and women in good health who have a mild to moderate amount of excess skin and some underlying fat. It is important that you have realistic expectations. FaceTite may produce surgical results without the scars or recovery time of a surgical facelift.
Before your FaceTite procedure starts, you will be given the choice as to whether to take mild medication for pain and/or anxiety. Dr. Dellinger will numb the treatment area before using FaceTite’s RF technology to initiate the procedure.
Using FaceTite’s RF technology, your skin and fat will be selectively heated which destroys the fat cells and tightens the collagen in your skin. Then, a small tube is employed to suction the melted fats cells in your face.
After the procedure, you should rest at home and have someone stay with you for at least the first night, especially if you are taking pain medications. You might feel more comfortable resting with your knees bent in a reclined position. There could be some drainage in the first 1 to 2 days that necessitate new dressings a couple of times a day. Make sure you have adequate loose clothing, baby wipes, and extra dressing on hand. Wear a compression garment as much as you can during the first 1 to 2 weeks and then at night for another couple of weeks. You should be able to get back into your normal routine in a few days but do not take part in strenuous activity for a few weeks.
Yes, it can be combined with eyelid surgery and/or a brow lift.
Most people who have FaceTite do experience some temporary swelling and bruising. Other rare complications include changes in skin sensation, scarring, burns, or possible injury to a facial nerve nerve damage.
